30 Days Of Fall +Day 17

Christmas time is fast approaching, like really fast. Now that Thanksgiving is long gone I had to get our Christmas tree up. And this year we got an actual tree, not like last years.

Christmas 08

-Our Tree Last Year-

I was super pumped to put the tree up and decorate it the way I want it decorated. Jeremy's mom was so awesome to give me so many things to make my tree the way that it is and at giving me great tips. She is great at decorating and being crafty with these types of things. Seriously, you should see her house. I was getting a little flustered because my arrangement wasn't looking like my mother-in-love's, Jeremy told me I need to practice and he's right. After I calmed down for a minute I made a pretty darn good one. So feast your eyes on the Barancik 2009 Christmas Tree.
Mind you they are a little blurry because somebody, me, left their tripod at work.

One of my friends got this ornament for us, it has 2008 Mr and Mrs on it. It doesn't necessarily go with the red and gold theme I had going but I wanted to put it on our first tree. :P

SO there you have it, the Barancik's 2009 Christmas Tree. :P

Merry Christmas

30 Days Of Fall +Day 16

Jeremy and I spent our Thanksgiving being lazy around the house. But we couldn't spend every moment being lazy. We found our way out and about. We went out to eat at Red Robins, because he had a certificate there for a free burger for his birthday. After we ate so much we decided we would walk around the mall, but not to buy anything, just walk off our meal.
We spent about 20 mins walking around the mall, then we found this game kiosk where they sold board games, puzzles, trick games, etc. We got to looking around and when I saw the puzzles they had I really wanted to do one. SO i convinced Jeremy to buy me one and then we found an Office DVD/Board game. So we bought that as well. Jeremy just received The Office board game for his birthday and we have so much fun playing we thought we would most certainly enjoy the DVD/board game as well. Mainly because we love The Office.

But back to this puzzle I found... it's a Mickey Mouse puzzle but the tricky part about it is that the Mickey picture is made up of tiny pictures of all kinds of Disney movies. They took still shots of Disney movies and made one big picture. How cool is that. I do have to say it is a doozy. I've been wearing my glasses to keep from getting a headache because I have to look real close at each piece. :P Although I should be wearing my glasses all the time. Tsk... Tsk...

If you look close enough you can see the Disney still shots. Cool huh?

iHeartFaces :: I ♥ tooshies

Once I knew iHeartFaces was doing an I ♥ tooshies I had to use this photo. It's from last Easter and we hid the egg in my husbands pocket to see if any of the kids could find it. :)

30 Days Of Fall +Day 14

I finished editing little Jack's pictures. Thought I'd better share my favorite edits. He was so fun to photograph. He kept wanting to say "Hi" in a really high voice and grabbing any thing to use as a phone. :)

Here he just used his hands, :P

See what I mean... he's adorable.
Have a blessed weekend everyone. :P

I read this blog today that was talking about Flare in a photo. It was a great post... some of you might have seen it already, if not and you want to check it out. It's at iHeartFaces and it was a great post. While reading that post I remembered a shot I got when we went out on a hayride to a pumpkin patch. Check it out!

Ta da... Flare.

30 Days Of Fall +Day 12

Keeping up with my days of fall... I'd say I'm doing pretty good. :)
Jeremy and I spent some time last weekend Christmas shopping for the little ones in our families. I love shopping for little kids, I just want to make sure we get stuff they REALLY would love.

On another note Jeremy has started a second job tonight, so we'll see how it goes. I have to go pick him at at 9:30, I'm anxious to see how it went. So we'll see.

I've noticed something I do. If something happens I'll say "I'm going to blog about that" and then I totally forget to blog about it. So what I might start doing is writing stuff down in my nifty planner I got for the year 2010. Can you believe that it's almost the New Year. It's amazingly CRAZY! I do remember one thing I wanted to share, and when I retell it to people it doesn't sound as funny as the day it happened. I was laughing so hard I was trying not to pee my pants. Jeremy and I went to a Halloween party and as we were leaving he said Happy 4th instead of Happy Halloween back at the people who felt the need to YELL it at us. So as we're walking out I'm cracking up and trying to walk to the car and at the same time attempting to keep my balance.

So anyways, that was my funny story I wanted to share.
I leave you with this adorable picture of my nephew in the pumpkin patch. :P

30 Days Of Fall +Day 11

I made some really good homemade chicken pot pie. I found the recipe off of Pillsbury website and tweaked it a tiny bit.
The ingredients were...
1 can of cream of chicken
1 bag of frozen mixed vegetable
5 Pillsbury Grand Frozen Buttermilk Biscuits

**If you want chicken in it you can add it. I just bought pre cooked chicken cubes and warmed them and added it in with the soup and vegetables.

Heat oven to 375. In medium microwavable bowl, microwave soup and vegetables uncovered on High for about 5 min. Instead of dividing soup mixture between 2 oven safe bowls I put it all in a Casserole bowl. Then I put 5 biscuits on top, put in the oven and let bake for 30 mins.

It was extremely easy to put together and extremely easy to wait for it to cook.
I would have taken a picture but didnt think of it until it was gone and in our bellies. Sorry, maybe next time. :p

30 Days Of Fall +Day 10

This year Jeremy carved his first pumpkin. No I'm not talking about a kid, I'm talking about my husband. :P I was so excited for us to carve pumpkins together. We really enjoyed it. He didn't think he was going to like it as much as he did. I was really happy when he said he was having more fun than he thought he would.

Pumpkin Carving 2009
Look at how precise he is being with it. It took him almost 45 mins longer to do his than it did to do mine.

Pumpkin Carving 2009
I don't think he liked digging into the pumpkin.

Pumpkin Carving 2009

The finished product. His is the alien and mine is the goofy faced one.
We had so much fun. :p
