@ Matt & Ashlee's baby shower I got to take care of Tristan... Here I am burping him, he had a good one too. :) It was my first time feeding him and burping him too. I can not wait to meed Jude... ALSO... good news, Matt & Ashlee asked Jeremy and I to be Jude's god parents. How great it that? It is such an honor. They both had their reasons and I really appreciate all the nice things they had to say about the whole situation.
So... whooo... to that.

30 Days Of Winter +Day 10

Matt & Ashlee were in town and while they were "home" Ashlee's mom threw her a baby shower. Seeing how she is 8 months pregnant! It was really nice! We were all bummed because the Diaper Game, you know the one where you smell the "poop" to figure out what candy bar it is, wasn't going to work. They were melted @ my mothers house and brought to the party, but now one even thought about it hardening. So... by the time we were ready to play the game the diapers were "glued" shut with dried hard "poop." I guess Ashlee likes how the POOP smells. :)
Matt is really excited about disposable bibs! :)

It is officially the weirdest! I'm surprised it could fit around his NECK! :)
This was another game... we had to guess the size of Ashlee's stomach using yarn, and who ever was the closest won... guess what... I didn't win. Mine was too big!
The cupcake/cake topper. It looks edible, but when Ashlee tried biting into it it was PLASTIC.:)

I can't wait to meed Jude, my other nephew.
Oh... Ashlee has started her own blog. Check it out.... She'll be using the blog to help keep family updated on Jude and their little family they got going on! Good For YOU!

Why Thank You

A big thanks is in order to Cindy @ The Grass Can Be Greener for this awesome award.
From the creator of this award:
"Blogs who receive this award are 'exceedingly charming' say its authors. This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

So Thank you Cindy, I accept!

I would LOVE to pass this award on to a few bloggers who DEFINITELY deserve it!

Rachel @ History Of The Harveys
Mrs. S @ Living Life On The Road Less Traveled
Becky @ The Branches
&
KDLOST @ Froggity

You all deserve it.... WHOOO

Not ME! Monday...

EXERCISE... that's what I am trying to do this year. My goal is to TONE up and eat HEALTHIER. So here goes nothing...

By the way... it's MONDAY... do you know what that means? That's right it's time for

I did not sleep in til 11 everyday for the past 2 weeks because I didn't have to work. And I definitely did not ignore the fact that I should be preparing my body for the work week and I didn't ignore that and still sleep in.

I did not take care of 3 cutie patooties on my last 2 free days of no working, because I don't like taking care of other people's kids, and I most certainly wouldn't sacrifice my last two days of no work just to go work!

I did not sit at home for the past 2.5 weeks when I should have gone grocery shopping and we most definitely did not eat out for the past 2.5 weeks because I didn't go grocery shopping.

I did not have a sip of Champagne to ring in the new year, that's just silly!

I did not make a list of things to do and then totally ignore my list. Why would I do a thing like that.

I did not give my husband a BIG.... SMOOCH (What did you think I was going to say) to ring in the new year!

I did not get a pair of boots and then take them back a week later because they were already falling apart, why would I spend lots of money on boots like that.

I did not wake up this morning and ask my husband what day it was or if I had to go to work. Why would I do that, I'm a grown up!

I did not get a bunch of scrapbooking supplies and lay them out, and I most definitely did not only finish one page in about 1 hour.
I did not set my alarm clock for 7:00 AM so I could work out, only to reset it to 7:30 because I wanted more sleep. NO, I wouldn't do that, I'm trying to EXERCISE. I wouldn't do a thing like that!

There are many things I did NOT do... what didn't you do?

P.S. Check out Mckmama's blog and see what she didn't do!

30 Days Of Winter +Day 9

I love doing photos in black and white, sometimes it just changes the whole essence of a photo. This is my nephew, Tristan, isn't he adorable. I'm planning a session with him and his MOMMY soon. I can't wait! I'll be sure to share the finished project!
His eyes are gorgeous:)

Always and forever babe!

30 Days Of Winter +Day 8

This New Years was one to remember. We had my brother, Matt, and his wife, Ashlee, over to celebrate. Along with Jon, one of Jeremy's bests friends. Jon is Jeremy's gaming buddy! :)
WE had a blast playing BLURT, PHASE 10, and CATCH PHRASE. Catch phrase was rather difficult because we had such a small amount of people, and an odd number, but we made it work, AND it was fun. We spent the night laughing and enjoying each others company. The time went by so fast we didn't even notice that it was almost time for the ball to drop! We turned on our TV and counted down... 10...9...8...7..........2...1... HAPPY NEW YEAR... and we even got to ring in the new year with a nice big SMOOCH! Our first New Year as a married couple! Whooo hoooo!
After we had our NEW YEAR KISS Matt and Jeremy felt it necessary to do a Eskimo New Year Kiss. That is just how close of friends they are!
And Jon's reaction to Matt's offer for an Eskimo kiss. He wasn't as excited about it as Jeremy was... :)
Thanks for the awesome first memories of 2009 FRIENDS... & HUSBAND...
