30 Days Of Fall +Day 8

Jeremy and I were invited to a Halloween party, and this is the costume we came up with for Jeremy.
Halloween 2009
To the left is the character Alan from the movie The Hangover, and the right is Jeremy. If you've seen The Hangover it will be funny. LOL
We found the same shirt, although we couldn't find the same "man purse" it was awesome.

I laughed a lot.

Fall

Bittersweet October. The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter.

30 Days Of Fall +Day 7

At Learning Zone last week it was picture day. We had to work around this horrible, yucky, and rainy weather. But, we had a couple dry times so I was able to get some great shots.
These three are my favorite shots of the day...

Aren't they just too cute...
Hope your all having a great weekend. :)

As many of you know I have 2 beautiful nephews named Tristan and Jude. They are 2 months apart and are the cutest things. Now that they are getting older they are interacting more with each other, and it's adorable.
When we tell Tristan to give Jude a hug he lays his head on him and goes "awwwww" but in a cute little baby voice.
Of course Jude enjoys these hugs the first time but after he keeps going Jude pulls away and has a look on his face like, okay dude I get it, awwwwwww. :)

I caught him right in the middle of his hug.

I so much enjoy watching them grow up. It's so fun. :P

30 Days Of Fall +Day 4

We recently spent the evening with some friends, we got to go on a nice long hayride to an apple orchard. It was a pretty long hayride so we had lots of time to do whatever, like throw hay at each other. Thank you Jeremy for starting the hay fight. ;)

Of course before Jeremy starts throwing the hay he has to relax and prepare.

My cute little nephew, Jude, hanging with the pumpkins. :p

I just had to post this picture because of the awefully cute face Jude is making.

This was our ride back. I had my hood up and my shirt tucked in to my pants, but I still had hay everywhere.

And last but certainly not least the best part of the hayride was Jeremy doing a girly hand clappy thing... it was cracking me up.

We had a great time, but we were so glad to get home and relax.

30 Days Of Fall +Day 3

I really do enjoy the colors of fall. I do not enjoy the cold weather that follows. I've always said, "I like the snow, I just don't like that it's cold." And living in Michigan you get snow, and you get cold. So I've learned to deal and live with it. As I deal I like to remember that after this snow goes away it's going to get warm and toasty, and then I can complain about it being too hot. :p
I also enjoy taking pictures of all the beautiful colors we see during fall. This is my first picture of fall, although you can't see the oranges, reds, and browns in this one, you still get the feel of fall. At least I do.

I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying these beautiful, yet cold, fall days. :)

Has anyone ever heard of Swagbucks? If you haven't you need to go to THIS website and check it out. It's a search engine and the more you use it the more swagbucks you get and the more swagbucks you get the bigger items you can purchase. You can even accumilate swagbucks throughout the year and then buy some christmas gifts for people during the season. I heard some people have done that. Its really a cool idea.

This would be the amount you want to get from swagbucks but unless your a lucky dog you would only get between 1 or 5 swagbucks.
iHeartFaces :: Hat
Since the colder weather is upon us I've been back to wearing my favorite winter hat. This thing seriously keeps my head warm, sometimes it makes me feel too warm. LOVE IT!
What are you doing to stay warm this cold season?

I love going into a neighborhood that has sidewalks. It's safe for the kids!

30 Days Of Fall +Day 1

Today I start my 30 Days Of Fall... and I start with the intention and goal of finishing them before Fall is over. Don't let me forget about my days of Fall!

This past week has been a not so good one. My body has been healing from a nasty head cold. It was yucky and I won't ever have it again. We were concerned at first that it might have been the flu, but a visit to the doctors concluded it wasn't. I'm still blowing my nose all the time, but I'd rather do that then miss a bunch of work. I'm so ready to go back to work.

I started thinking about that during the week, about being a stay at home mom and not working. I don't know if I could do that. I enjoy keeping myself busy and if I'm home 24/7 would I beable to keep myself busy? I don't know maybe. But I do know that I enjoy my work I am doing now and miss my class. I'll be heading back to work on Monday, I can't wait. :)

Last Saturday I received my certificate in the mail for my CDA which is a Child Development Associates certificate. I'm going to frame it and hang it in my classroom. I'm super duper excited. I've been working hard and long on getting that, and now that I finally have I'm relieved.

Today, because I was feeling better my wonderful husband took me to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Miyako's. It's a Japanese Steakhouse and it is GOOOOD. If your in the area and haven't tried this restaurant you should. It's in the Great Lakes Crossing Mall. We always have leftovers and always eat them. I'm not a big leftover eater but I'll eat these leftovers. After we ate Jeremy wanted to go to the Bass Pro Shop and we ended up going to their indoor shooting range. I wasn't ready to shoot his gun yet, I'm totally not confident with it. He wants me to wait so I can shoot a 22 before I shoot his 45. He made the mistake of having me shoot his shotgun and the kick back hurt so bad. Well, listen to me sounding like I know alot about guns, I'm just repeating what I've heard him say. :) I was going to take a picture of him shooting his gun, but I was being lazy. Sorry! I didn't have my camera with me so I would have used my phone and the quality would not have been that great anyway.

I'm hoping to get to a orchard soon, first to pick out a pumpkin, and to secondly get some cider and donuts. I love getting pumpkins because then I can carve them. One of my favorite things about Fall.

My brother and his wife are bringing my nephew over, who just so happens to be my Godson, and we are going to spend time with them for bit tonight. :)
I hope everyone's weekend is a good one.

Check out this old photo of Jeremy and I way before we were married.

Woah!
My teeth look huge. Well I do have large teeth :)

P.S. Firefox totally crashed and when it restored my session none of what I had just typed was up there, but thank you Jesus for auto save, because I would not have remembered what I had put on here. :)

One thing I wish is that Michigan had palm trees. I do like them... but Michigan can not bloom these awesome looking trees.

oh well, I guess I'll get to enjoy them when I visit Florida or California. Or any of those other places hat can grow them. :)
