Compliments

I like em, you like em, we all like em. Getting compliments can really boost your self-esteem, or make your day just that much better. But when you get a compliment from a 3 year old you just think it's so cute and it makes your heart melt.

Yesterday I had one of my kids (students) ask me what a compliment was, so I told him, "It's when someone says something nice to someone else. Like, 'Your hair looks nice today' or ' I like your shirt'. " So this whole week all my kids have been showering me, and some of the parents, with compliments. It's so great to see how their faces light up after they know they just said something nice to someone else. They have even been giving each other compliments... isn't that great. When you can get a group of children to give each other compliments without being told too, you got something GOOD going on!
