Peanut Butter & Bird Seed

We made some bird feeders. We had huge pine cones, peanut butter, and of course bird seed. I tied string on the top of the pine cone before we spread the peanut butter so I didn't get peanut butter all over my hands. But guess what? I still got peanut butter all over my hands :)


First we spread the peanut butter ALL over the pine cone. We used spoons and, of course, our hands.


They did really well getting the peanut butter all over the pine cone by themselves.


After we spread the peanut butter we dipped the pine cone in to a tub full of bird seed and rolled it in to cover the whole pine cone.

Now, the birds have something to munch on.
