A Day Out In The Sun

We took Corbin out in the beautiful sunshine for a BBQ with some of our friends.  I wanted to make sure that our little guys head was safe from the rays of sunshine.  While searching through his plethora of hats I found this cute baseball cap, that actually fit his small little head.  He looked so so so cute.

Two Months

Our baby boy is 2 months old.  He's growing too fast in my eyes.  Both Jeremy and I have been enjoying this new journey as a Mommy and Daddy and we are so blessed to have this little man.
Happy 2 months!!!

two months

Corbin has been lifting his head up and it's crazy how well he does it.   When he firsts wakes up in the morning he's all smiles, which helps start off my day.  I'm happy to say our little guy will most likely be a morning person. :)
We also discovered he loves showers.  He usually cries during bath times but when he is in the shower he really enjoys it.  No tears in the shower!
I am returning to work next week, starting off with 2 days a week for 3 weeks, and I most definitely don't want to leave my little guy behind, but you do what you gotta do.  But what will help make it easier for me to return to work is that my little guy is sleeping 7-10 hours at night.  I will sure be rested for work.  Thanks Corbin!

Just because I think he has the cutest face ever...

Sneak Peek of Little Everest!!!

I've always enjoyed blogging, but sometimes I feel I don't have anything worth writing about.  Especially after reading other blogs, I find myself thinking, "My life isn't that fun and interesting." Or I feel like I don't have time to blog about that day we did that one thing with those one people.  Really though, I just need to do it.  I can make time for it and really it's like an online journal.  I can write about whatever I want.  Whether people are reading it or not, it's a great way for me to share even with family.  I do enjoy writing and to be better at something you have do more of it. Right?  From here on out I vow to blog more and share more of my life and this new adventure with our little guy.  Which means... I should need to and want to take more pictures.  Meaning, I need to remember to take my camera with me.  Most times when we go out to do things I always forget my camera.  We get half way to our destination and at that point I remember my camera. GAH! (one of my many sound effects)
This has been such a great summer.  Mostly because I've been able to perfect this Mommy job I've been blessed with but also because I've been able to visit with family that I haven't seen in a while.  My brother and his wife came to visit during and my cousin and her husband (who all live in Florida) visited as well.   My cousin just had a baby as well and I was so happy to finally meet her.  She is 2 months older then Corbin and cute as ever.

Yeah... ADORABLE!  It was very fun spending time with her and my wonderful cousin who I haven't seen in 2 years, and of course her husband.   :)  While they were in town we did a little photo shoot because they needed family photos with their newest addition.  Here are a few shots we got...

His Mommy!

Life has been amazing since the arrival our little man (birth story soon).  I can't imagine life without him now.  Not working right now has been great because I've been able to bond with Corbin.  I'm already dreading going back to work and leaving him behind.
How could you leave this...

It's going to be hard!
We have really been working on a schedule as little guy sleeps a majority of the time but of course he wakes up to eat and at night too, so by morning i'm so tired... BUT he sleeps in until about 11, so I've been waking up at 10.  So that's nice.  But I won't be able to do that when I go back to work.  I should probably start working on waking up early when I would get up for work soon so it's not extremely hard when I do.

All in all, I love being his MOMMY!

1 Month!

It has been one month since we brought our little man home.  A MONTH. I can't believe how fast time is going by.  Please... SLOW DOWN!
We have been so busy getting into our routine and living our new life with our little blessing.  Jeremy has gone back to work of course but I've been able to spend all my time with Corbin and I LOVE IT.  I wish I could be home with him but I will be returning to work in about 2 months.  It's so nice to have 3 months with him but knowing I'll have to leave him breaks my heart.  But, you do what you gotta do.
Because I've been photographing my pregnancy weekly it's only fitting I photograph Corbin's monthly growth.  Were at one month and I can wait for his second month photo.  I don't want him to grow too fast.

39 Weeks... Home Stretch

This will be my last pregnancy photo as Tuesday we'll get to meet our little man.

39 weeks

Dear Corbin,
I'm so very excited to finally meet you this week.  Knowing when your birthday will be has been so fun and exciting.  Your bed is all ready and we are ready to go.  Bags are packed for the hospital and Aunt Brittney is in town.  I am not sure how I will sleep knowing that you will make your way into the world in less than 2 days.  Your daddy and I have so much love for you already we can barely contain it.  We love you sweet baby boy! Until we meet.

Love Mommy

Being Pregnant is...

Amazing!  Even though I'm ready to pop I'm am still enjoying being pregnant.  Yes, I have my moments where I feel uncomfortable, but I am enjoying every moment of this pregnancy, YES! Every moment.  It's coming to the end of my pregnancy, little Corbin will be here Tuesday, May 22nd.  How do I know when he'll be here?  Well, that's because my baby boy is breeched, and he hasn't turned since we found out about a week and half ago. Meaning we are scheduled for a c-section, It was a shock when we first found out that he was breeched, mainly because this whole pregnancy I have been preparing for a all natural birth.  But, I guess Corbin had other plans.  I'm 100% okay with what we have to do to meet our little man, now I'm just super anxious because I know when he is going to be here.  It's very exciting...
