39 Weeks... Home Stretch

This will be my last pregnancy photo as Tuesday we'll get to meet our little man.



Dear Corbin,
I'm so very excited to finally meet you this week.  Knowing when your birthday will be has been so fun and exciting.  Your bed is all ready and we are ready to go.  Bags are packed for the hospital and Aunt Brittney is in town.  I am not sure how I will sleep knowing that you will make your way into the world in less than 2 days.  Your daddy and I have so much love for you already we can barely contain it.  We love you sweet baby boy! Until we meet.

Being Pregnant is...

Amazing!  Even though I'm ready to pop I'm am still enjoying being pregnant.  Yes, I have my moments where I feel uncomfortable, but I am enjoying every moment of this pregnancy, YES! Every moment.  It's coming to the end of my pregnancy, little Corbin will be here Tuesday, May 22nd.  How do I know when he'll be here?  Well, that's because my baby boy is breeched, and he hasn't turned since we found out about a week and half ago. Meaning we are scheduled for a c-section, It was a shock when we first found out that he was breeched, mainly because this whole pregnancy I have been preparing for a all natural birth.  But, I guess Corbin had other plans.  I'm 100% okay with what we have to do to meet our little man, now I'm just super anxious because I know when he is going to be here.  It's very exciting...

38 Weeks

At 38 weeks... and  still going strong.  I haven't had very many labor signs, except for nesting... I have been nesting hard core... seriously!



Dear Corbin,
We found out this past week that you didn't want to get in the birthing position where your head is faced down and you wanted to be breeched.  It made Mommy a little sad at first but knowing that you could still turn and I could give birth naturally made it okay too.  I am still okay with either way as long as we get to meet you soon.  Two of our friends had their little ones this week so that makes me even more anxious to meet you my sweet baby.  We were also told that you weigh about 7 lbs already, your growing fast.  We have 2 appointments this week and then another on Sunday.   AND Aunt Brittney flies in on Saturday too, so we have a very busy week ahead of us.  This weekend has been full of nesting as well.  I got your bassinet all ready to go and all the needed supplies for my baby boy.  Can't wait for you to get here! I love you baby boy!

I Am 37 Weeks!

37 Weeks... still going... can't believe that little Corbin could come any day now, although we'd prefer for him to wait a little while... for a few things.  1 for me to be able to work just a little bit longer, and for Aunt Brittney to get to town... 2 more weeks, she'll be here, and then he can come.  :)



Dear Corbin,
Here we are, 37 weeks, your body is ready to make it in the world,  and we can not wait for your arrival.  We have only a few things left to do before you get here and I'd like to think we have time but who knows.  This week you have been been moving around so much.  It's strange, all the material says that I should feel you move less and less, but really I think that I feel you moving so much more, and see you move more.  It's so fun to watch you move around but sometimes it hurts.  So be a little nicer to mommy when moving around in there.  Can't wait to see your face!

36 Weeks.... Getting Closer

I am 36 weeks... Wait whats that?  36 WEEKS!!!! Can not believe we are so much closer to meeting little Corbin.



Dear Corbin,
We are so close to meeting you and we are so exited.  You are about 6.5 lbs not and approximately 19 inches long.  You are getting so big but don't get too big until your out in the world please.  I bought some fabric for your crib this week and can't wait to get it all finished and get your crib together, although you won't be in it right away.  Daddy and I have your bag packed and just about everything ready for our bag.  Just a few more things and we will be all set and ready for our hospital visit.  We love you!!!

35 Weeks.... Almost There

We're getting closer and closer to our due date... I'm counting down the days... and as each day passes I can't believe that we're so close to finally meeting our little man.

Dear Baby Corbin,

You have continued to grow and weigh about 5.5 pounds and your probably about 18 inches long. I know your running out of room because I don't feel punches and kicks I just see you sliding around. My ankles and feet have been pretty swollen these days, but do my best to prop them up and relax. I've been a little bit uncomfortable near my ribs but that's just because your running out of space in there. Pretty soon you'll be out in the world and you'll get to meet so many people that already love you, especially your Mommy and Daddy. We love you little man.

The End Of My 34 Week

It's a little late, but better late than never right? As you will notice I forgot all about week 33. But that would be because I have been so busy.... growing a baby and all...

Dearest Corbin,

This week has been full of watching and wondering. I just can't get over how much you move around and I can't help but wonder what your going to look like, or who your going to look like. Will you have Daddy's dark hair or my light hair? Will you have Daddy's nose or my nose? The more I think about it the more I can not wait to meet your sweet baby boy. This week I have been working extra hours to stock up and prepare for you arrival. Exhausting but very much worth every minute.

I've been eating a lot of ice cream as that seems to be the craving I have most of. No pickles with the ice cream, but I love adding banana's and chocolate syrup to it. YUM! You always seem to enjoy it as well as your always doing flips after a nice bowl of ice cream. Until we meet...
