Preparing For Baby

We start by counting down the months, then we begin to count down the weeks, to eventually counting down the days... I'm in between counting down the weeks and days... I am getting more and more anxious to meet this little man of mine.

Since my baby shower I've been organizing and reorganizing all of Corbin's things, nesting... I've been doing nothing but nesting these last few weeks. Since I've started nesting I've really become more and moRE and MORE EXCITED!

Corbin is so blessed! He has so many adorable outfits I can not wait to put on him. And yes I've organized his closet about 3 times already.

The hangers are white and green. And the white sizes are newborn and the green hangers are 3 months... yes that's how organized I am getting.

I'm loving this Green robot that matches perfectly with our green theme. Changing table is pretty set!

We don't have a dresser for little man yet, but that's okay, this works fine for me. On this hanging closet organizer, which happens to be very organized, starts from newborn down to 3 month clothing. But they are in their own cubby. :) of course.

Shoe bin! Which might have to go to a bigger one, we have so many adorable shoes.

Although everything doesn't have it's place yet... we'll find one!!!

30 Weeks & Counting

We are at 30 weeks... 10 more weeks to go... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

Dearest Corbin,

You are about 3 lbs now and approximately 15.5 inches long. My have you grown! Daddy and I are doing more to prepare for your arrival. Your closet is full of fresh clean clothes for you to wear. I can not wait to put some of the outfits we got on you. You are going to be one stylish baby. My ankles have been swelling here and there so I do my best not to be on them for too long. I haven't felt so many kicks and punches but I have felt more twist and turns as you are running out of room. I was telling your Daddy that I had a dream that you had dark curly hair just like him. Hopefully you have hair, unlike me when I was born, who didn't have hair at all. It took time for mine to grow. I'm very anxious to meet you!!!

11 More Weeks

Moving in to the 29th week I am feeling the 3rd trimester discomforts... I am really really feeling those body parts in my ribs, mostly on the right side lately... And I still have 11 more weeks to go.

Dear Sweet Baby Corbin,

Mommy is counting down the days until we get to meet you, I can not wait. Daddy can't either. I had a dream the other night that you were born with dark curly hair just like your daddy. I can not wait until we find out who you resemble most. I've been feeling you shift and move more, especially now that you are running out of room. I would also appreciate if you would move your body away from my ribs because it is very uncomfortable. I have a hard time sitting all day at work because you just seem to be staying in that one spot. You can move any time now, Mommy would appreciate it.

28 Weeks... 3rd Trimester

OMG, I can not believe we've made it to the 3rd Trimester all ready. Wow... and I didn't know the 3rd Trimester could be this good.



Dear Corbin,
We've been using this time to prepare for your arrival. We have so much done already but still much more to finish. Preparing for your arrival makes me feel more and more excited to meet you. But take your time... but not too long. I love you little man. OH so very much.

Here we go... 27 WEEKS...

Sorry, I missed my 26 week mark. :( SO BUSY!

I can not get over the fact that we are at 27 weeks... Next week I'll be in my 3rd trimester... where I heard time slows down... but we'll see, it seems to be going by so fast.



Dear Corbin,
This week we celebrated YOU with a baby shower that your Aunt Brittney threw. It was full of brown, green, and white colors you'll grow to know because your room will be covered in it. We are so blessed and we were showered with so many gifts for you, you will have lots and lots of adorable outfits to wear. You have been kicking more and more at night time, which we'll have to adjust when your here... we don't want our days and nights mixed up. Mommy has been having so much fun organizing your new things as well. Counting down the days my sweet little man.

25 Weeks...

As my stomach is growing and my body is doing what it needs to do to house this little man of mine I'm just in awe. I can't believe my stomach is going to be getting bigger!!!!

Dear Corbin,

I've been pretty sleepy this week as I have been making my way to feeling 100%. But you don't let me forget your here with me, as I feel every move you make. You've been waking up a lot in the middle of the night and let me know your there. We'll have to try and get a better schedule for you when your here, the less we get up the middle of the night the better. We have an appointment this week with our mid wife. We can't wait to hear your strong heart beat again.

24 Weeks... still growing...

Looking back at the last few weeks I can really see the growth Corbin has made. It's amazing how fast babies grow in the womb. Makes it more real every single day.

We are here at 24 weeks and can't believe how far we are already!

Dear little Corbin,

This week has been full of flips and flops and kicks and punches. You are moving so much I love feeling every single movement you make. Your daddy was FINALLY able to experience that with me by feeling your kicks as well. I was so happy he finally got to feel it, and I think he was too! It has also been tough this week because I was dealing with a few things like fever, soreness, and now stuffy nose. But that's okay, I would go through anything for my precious baby boy. We're getting closer and closer and more anxious to meet you. We love you baby boy!
